Biography

Dr. Lawrence Lai has over 20 years of investment experience, including roles as General Manager of the Private Equity Investment arm of a blue-chip listed company in Hong Kong and CEO of a China-based investment firm. He has held various positions in investee companies, such as board member, management committee member, and COO. 

Lawrence earned his Doctor of Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a Responsible Officer of the company and a Certified ESG Analyst.

Biography

Mr. Samuel Lam brings a decade of experience in asset management, discretionary account management, securities advisory, and market commentary. He is currently a qualified Responsible Officer for Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities in the company. 

Before joining the company, Samuel served as a director in the financial arm of a conglomerate in Hong Kong. He managed a discretionary account exceeding HK$250 million and contributed as an Investment Specialist for another account of HK$100 million. 

Samuel holds a BBA in Finance from Simon Fraser University, Canada, and various professional qualifications, including CFP (Hong Kong) and CFP (Canada). 

Achievement

Aclimandos joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 1983. He was elected to the board of governors in 1987 and re-elected in 1988 and 2007. Donor Programs committees, and as vice president, membership from 2001 to 2005. Aclimandos was elected President of AmCham Egypt in 2013 and served for two consecutive terms till 2017.

Odhran Dodd is a highly experienced finance professional with over 25 years of expertise spanning mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt advisory, buyouts, real estate financings, and distressed transactions. He has successfully completed over 70 deals across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, transportation, oil and gas, and renewables. Odhran has held senior roles at prominent firms, including UHY Hacker Young LLP, where he was a Partner, and Carter Backer Winter LLP (CBW), where he established and led the Corporate Finance department.

James brings over 17 years of expertise in real estate private equity and asset management, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions involving the U.S. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, showcasing his deep understanding of diverse markets and global investment strategies.

A graduate of the University of Sheffield in the UK with a BA in Japanese and Korean Studies, James combines his linguistic and cultural knowledge with extensive industry experience to navigate complex international transactions.

As Managing Director for the South Asia region at a multinational investment group, James specializes in structuring and executing cross-border deals, leveraging his deep expertise to deliver value-driven solutions for stakeholders.
