Daniel Lui

Director of Finance

Biography

Daniel Lui is the Director of Finance at GRT Capital Management, based in Hong Kong. He oversees the firm’s finance and accounting functions, fund operations, financial reporting, and audit coordination across multiple investment structures, including Hong Kong OFCs and offshore fund vehicles.

Daniel brings extensive experience in corporate and public company audits. He trained towards CPA Australia at PwC Hong Kong and later served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte London, working with multinational and public company groups across the technology, real estate investment, and manufacturing sectors. He subsequently joined Amicorp Fund Services as Financial Controller, where he was involved in the fund services group’s IPO process, which resulted in a successful London Stock Exchange listing, and led the group’s financial operations in the post‑listing phase.

Daniel is a CPA Australia member with a strong track record in directing complex financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting finance transformation initiatives.

Biography

Mr. Samuel Lam brings a decade of experience in asset management, discretionary account management, securities advisory, and market commentary. He is currently a qualified Responsible Officer for Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities in the company. 

Before joining the company, Samuel served as a director in the financial arm of a conglomerate in Hong Kong. He managed a discretionary account exceeding HK$250 million and contributed as an Investment Specialist for another account of HK$100 million. 

Samuel holds a BBA in Finance from Simon Fraser University, Canada, and various professional qualifications, including CFP (Hong Kong) and CFP (Canada). 

Achievement

Aclimandos joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 1983. He was elected to the board of governors in 1987 and re-elected in 1988 and 2007. Donor Programs committees, and as vice president, membership from 2001 to 2005. Aclimandos was elected President of AmCham Egypt in 2013 and served for two consecutive terms till 2017.

Vincent Hung

Head of Capital Markets, Taiwan

Biography

Vincent Hung is the Head of Capital Markets, Taiwan at GRT Capital Management, where he leads the firm’s capital markets strategy and drives the growth of its alternative investment platform through partnerships with leading financial institutions in Taiwan.

Prior to joining GRT, Vincent headed alternative investments at First Securities Investment Trust following the regulatory opening of alternative products in Taiwan in 2025. He played a key role in introducing global private asset managers to the Taiwanese market and in structuring and executing product onboarding and distribution across local channels. His expertise spans a wide range of alternative asset classes, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real assets, and infrastructure. He also contributed to the execution of an overseas biotechnology private equity IPO in collaboration with domestic distributors.

Earlier in his career, Vincent held senior roles at UOB, PIMCO, and Schroders, where he was responsible for mutual fund distribution and strategic relationship management with major banks, securities firms, and insurance companies in Taiwan. He brings deep insight into the local distribution landscape and a well-established network across the financial sector.

Vincent holds an MBA from Shih Hsin University and maintains the relevant licenses for asset management practice in Taiwan.

James Buchanan

Director, Singapore

Biography

James brings over 17 years of expertise in real estate private equity and asset management, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions involving the U.S. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore, showcasing his deep understanding of diverse markets and global investment strategies.

A graduate of the University of Sheffield in the UK with a BA in Japanese and Korean Studies, James combines his linguistic and cultural knowledge with extensive industry experience to navigate complex international transactions.

As Managing Director for the South Asia region at a multinational investment group, James specializes in structuring and executing cross-border deals, leveraging his deep expertise to deliver value-driven solutions for stakeholders.
